Åland was by far my favorite go-to always visit shop when I was in Myeongdong which is why I was so happy when i found other branches around the country.
Like all countries in the world, Korea is touched by violence. Despite its largely restricted and controlled gun policies acts, shooting sprees still occur. An elderly man turned the gun on his brother and brothers wife as the country's second deadly shooting rampage in three days.
On a personal perspective, when I visited South Korea it seemed to me that most people felt like their nation was above the common violence that takes place in the United States and other countries. But to me, I saw the same amount of violence instituted in different ways. In Korea there are strict laws against drugs and guns but unfortunately brutality is innate and a part of every ethnicity and can happen with our without other influences.
